3-day rock climbing course in Mala Fatra & the Tatras

Surrounded by mountains, Slovakia has many exciting rock climbing venues. It’s also a great place for an introductory course, boasting climbing routes for all levels.

This time, I propose to take you on a 3-day rock climbing course in the Slovak mountains. The course is oriented to beginners: I’ll provide all the necessary equipment and teach you the basics.

The first two days we’ll be based in Mala Fatra (Low Fatra), a group of mountains in the north of Slovakia. The crags are only 5 minutes from the parking place.

The last day we’ll head to the Tatras, a wild and higher mountain range lying on the border with Poland. Here you’ll find multi-pitch climbing routes to suit all levels and walls up to 900 meters.

This course is a great opportunity for first-timers willing to learn basic skills to move safely on a rocky wall. If you don’t have 3 days, I can offer a condensed version of the course in just 1-day.
