Description

Discover the amazing rock climbing routes of the Lofoten islands on a tailored adventure adapted to your level and needs.

On this rock climbing tour, I will take you to discover the classic climbs around Henningsvær and Svolvær. We can guarantee perfect splitter cracks and stunning surroundings. Among our favourite routes are Vestpillaren at Presten, Bare Blåbær, Gandalf wall and Råna.

The itinerary we will follow will depend on your level, preferences, and needs. I recommend you start with a short climbing day so that I can evaluate your fitness level. From there, everything is possible. If you are a good climber with some stamina, the West pillar should be within reach, otherwise, we can find an easier route. You don't need any prior experience, but if you do have it, we can head to some more challenging crags.

Itinerary

Day 1: Gandalf walls

Gandalf wall offers different routes ranging from grade N5 to N7. Each route is around 3 pitches. We often have time to do several routes.

Day 2: Bare Blåbær, N5

The best route in Lofoten at its grade. 7 pitches with perfect splitters.

Day 3: West pillar of Presten, N6

A classic in Lofoten. A must-do climb. Probably the most famous route in Norway.

FAQs

Is climbing gear included in the price?

Yes, all necessary climbing gear is included in the price.

Do i need my own climbing shoes?

No, you can use one of my black diamond rental shoes. They are not the best shoes for harder climbing, but work fine for beginners and easy climbs. If you have your own shoes with you, I recommend using them.

What sort of food/lunch/snacks should I bring?

A sandwich and a couple of bars should be plenty. And water is important, 1 liter should be enough. If the trip is long I will give you a more detailed list of what to bring. And by the way, coffee is always the right thing to bring.

Why is there a different price on the product i clicked on and the offer from the guide?

Some routes are longer, meaning it will be a long day. Therefore, prices differ. But the minimum price is listed on the product you click on, and counts for a normal day out. This would be something around 6-8 hrs. long. Longer routes as Presten and Nordryggen take 10-12 hours and have another price from the one listed on the product page.
