If you are interested in venturing into the rock climbing world but have never tried it before, we have a great proposal for you. An introductory day course in some of the most amazing spots of Minnesota or Wisconsin.
We are offering these learning journeys in the following locations:
Devil’s Lake State Park: located south of Baraboo, Wisconsin;
Interstate Park: just in the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota, on the St. Croix River surrounded by incredible rock formations;
Tettegouche State Park in Minnesota where we can visit the Shovel Point or the Sliver Bay, very popular cliffs over the lake.
During this fun and exciting day we will teach you how to climb and make basic knots. In addition you will have introductory lessons to the main rock climbing techniques such as: belaying, moving on the rock, rope handling and using of proper equipment. We will provide ropes, shoes, harnesses and helmets.
We can adapt the level of the course depending on ages and skills of the participants. All the theoretical information will be complemented with a real practice on the rocks in the chosen location.
