There is an abundance of great rock climbing spots throughout the world. Literally thousands of fantastic walls just waiting to be climbed. And to make the choice even more difficult as to which wall to climb is how unique each spot is. However, let me make that difficult decision a little easier and recommend you try rock climbing around Zakopane in Poland during this 5-day beginner level course.
Throughout this 5-day rock climbing course around Zakopane, you will get to choose from a number of fantastic walls. We will choose the location each day depending on conditions (if weather is bad, we may have to travel up to 240km).
We will be climbing for approximately 6 hours per day, thus giving you approximately 30 hours of total climbing time! And over that time, you will not only have a great experience, but you will also learn a great deal about the fundamentals of rock climbing.
Since this is a beginner level course, participants do not require prior experience. However, it is important that all participants are in good physical condition.
Rock climbing is the kind of activity a person can enjoy for a lifetime. However, it is important to learn how to rock climb properly in order to maximize the experience. Hence the importance of a course like this. So, if that sounds like something you wish to enjoy, just send me a request.
I also offer a rock climbing tour at Mount Mnich.
Mountain Guide
IFMGA / UIAGM Mountain guide
Since early 1980 I'm continuously climbing in the Tatras, Alps, Caucasus, Andes, Rocky Mountains, Yosemite, Scotland, Himalayas and other mountains.
Most of my climbs I’ve done are obviously in the Tatras. Besides several hundreds of the casual climbs, new routes & some first winter ascents there, I’ve also climbed in other countries on 4 continents. To some of my best climbs belong probably: 2-day ascent of the South Face if Aconcagua (6959 m), the winter ascent of the Grand PIlier d'Angle on Mont Blanc and partly new route / new variation on Cho – Oyu (8201m , alone the last part to the summit).
I do follow the polish tradition of the mountain extreme skiing, doing several new extreme ski descents in the Tatras.
I participate 4 times in the famous ski-mountaineering-competitions Pierra Menta in the Alps. I took also part in the ski-and climbing- championships of the IFMGA (three times being on the 3-rd position in ski & climbing combination.).
I’ve been successfully working on the membership of the Polish Mountain Guides Association / PSPW / in the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations / IFMGA /. For over 10 years I’ve been the president of the Polish Mountain Guides Association.
Since 1991 I've been working as professional mountain guide, working mostly in the Tatras & the Alps.
During the winter, I do also work for the Tatra Mountain Rescue Service (TOPR).
Please get in touch with me if you want to discover the Tatra mountains, hiking, mountaineering, climbing or skiing. I will guide you here with much pleasure and show you some of our secret spots !

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
