Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is an extraordinary place that offers an extensive terrain for climbing and spectacular views of the desert that surrounds it.

Lying 30 kilometers away from Las Vegas, in the south of Nevada, this red, pink and cream colored wall that measures over 900 meters tall welcomes climbers of all skill levels.

If it’s your first time climbing, Red Rock is the perfect place to learn. If you have some experience and you want to improve your technique, Red Rock is the right place too. And if you dare to climb a long route with different angles and obstacles, you’ll also find good challenges in this steep high-quality sandstone wall!

Climbing in Red Rock is a unique experience as the cliffs and canyons have kept the original wilderness feeling.

There’s an easy approach to the crags through a few marked routes that provide an enjoyable tour around narrow canyons bordered by junipers.

The high season for rock climbing in this area goes from September to May, though trips during the summer season are also possible.
