Barcelona is one of the perfect rock climbing destination. Its surroundings offer endless options for every type of climber. And the city is vibrant with an exquisite gastronomy and fascinating culture and history. Thus this trip combines the best of both worlds.

One of the places we can explore near this marvellous spanish city is Montserrat. It is a multi-peaked mountain range with breathtaking sceneries. Some of its more than 5,000 traditional and sport routes rise above the 1,000 meters, with single and multi-pitch options. And, it lies only 35 kilometers from Barcelona. So reaching it is quite easy.

We can also check out Garraf, a multi-pitch area with stunning views of the area. Or we could explore Pedraforca, one of the most emblematic mountains in Catalonia. Due to its two dazzling summits separated by a mesmerizing mountain pass, it has a very particular shape. Its north summit has 2 peaks, Pollegó Superior (2,506 m) and Calderer (2,505 m). Then, the south summit is formed by the Pollegó Inferior (2,445 m). Located in the Cadí mountain range, within the Cadi-Moixeró natural park, it is definitely worth visiting.
