Mountain Guide
I was born and grew up in between the mountains of the Andean Range, always respecting and admiring nature. I now live in Huaraz, Cordillera Blanca, sharing my experience and passion with locals and visitors from around the world.
I've been climbing mountains for the past 9 years, and I became an official IFMGA mountain guide 4 years ago. As a guide, I organize expeditions in Peru and all around South America.

David was our tour guide for the day of climbing. On top of being super professional and amazing with helping us climb, he was very personable and friendly. By the end of the day I had a new friend. I would highly recommend climbing with David and I will definitely be doing so in the future myself. 12/10 service.

David is not only professional but also personable. When you are doing adventures, they are best shared with people that you vibe with and get along with! He delivered. The experience was super fun and safe.

David was absolutely the best guide possible. The excursion began with the wind blowing my glasses over the mountain side. I was mortified as I imagined the rest of the trip without vision and David climbed to retrieve them with a smile and did not return till he had them in hand. That alone was over and beyond however it did not stop there. I had an injury from falling earlier that morning (at another location) and he wrapped my ankle and made it manageable for me to still participate. The day was filled with hiking, climbing, and zip lining and I had an amazing time. David smiled the entire day and made it so much fun. I'd recommend him as a guide to anyone.

I've rock climbed in the sacred valley with David multiple times and each time was so much fun! David is a great person to climb with if you are looking for someone who knows the routes of the area and above all if you are looking to enjoy a beautiful day at the rock with good company. With David, I climbed multipitches, to overhanging routes, to slab... so your personal style will not be disappointed. If you feel like you want to learn some techniques either in your climbing ability or rope skills. David is a natural teacher and helped me solve crux moves that I almost gave up on. He also taught me some new knots and techniques for multipitches. 100% will be looking to climb with David again!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
