Description

Another one of the great canyons in Utah, the Robbers Roost canyon makes for a great adventure.

On this full day trip, you will get to visit, explore and enjoy the Robbers Roost canyon. While the canyon is large and intimidating, it is actually one of the easier canyons in the area to maneuver through. Hence why this trip is open to people of all climbing levels. So if you are a beginner, who is just getting into canyoning, or an expert looking for another challenge, you can enjoy it. However, it is important that participants are in good physical condition.

Beautiful and serene, the Robbers Roost canyon also has a theatrical history. As a result of its remote location, it was used as a hiding spot for the famed outlaws, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. So on this trip, you may very well find yourself resting in the same spots those legendary bandits did!

On this trip you will get to enjoy four rappels from 30 to 75 feet, a scenic hike, and several exciting drops. You will get to admire the natural art of eroded sandstone and the awe-inspiring chimneys of the canyon. With so much beauty, don’t forget to bring your camera because the photo opportunities will be plentiful.

If you want a full day canyoning adventure in Utah, the Robbers Roost is the canyon for you. It is beautiful and challenging, but not solely resereved for experts, and it has a history you’ll be happy to relay to friends who want to hear about your adventure. To experience it for yourself, just send us a request.
