Are you looking for a different outdoor experience in Spain? Then come to the Alpujarra Granadina, in the Sierra Nevada National Park, for a challenging canyoning trip in Río Poqueira!

Rio Poqueira is a river in the heart of La Alpujarra region, in the province of Granada. Formed by several streams born near the top of Mulhacén, it crosses the largest protected area in Spain: the Sierra Nevada National Park.

Canyoning in El Poqueira is one of the most extreme challenges in the area, due to the river’s strong current and high flow. This 6-hour activity combines hiking, climbing, swimming, and abseiling on a water route carved through impressive rock formations. Keep in mind that it requires previous canyoning experience and a good fitness level.
