The entire country boasts an impressive lineup of exquisite snowboarding destinations, but Hakuba is considered the cream of the crop of Japanese snow sports. Its diverse terrain, which blends all levels of difficult runs with its unbelievably gorgeous scenery, is abundant and accommodating. The snow itself is particularly perfect, known as some of the driest and highest-quality in the world.
As a top-50 FWQ snowboarder in the world, currently first in Japan, I consider this region my playground. I developed my skills on these mountains, so I constantly return to improve them in this challenging landscape. I want to show you the same terrain and routes that turned me into a pro!
The resorts here have more than 200 runs, many with fantastic views of the surround Japanese Alps stretching over 3,000 meters tall. The snowfall is remarkably heavy, which means the legendary quality of the powder is plentiful throughout the region. Each resort will feature exciting alpine bowls, ridges with jaw-dropping panoramas, and long runs that go on for days.
Your program is a half-day adventure into this paradise. We will cruise through the best spots of an immaculate location, picking and choosing runs as we go. You can see how a professional decides which lines to take while riding next to me. I am not a certified instructor, but I can share a few tips on what makes me tick as a snowboarder.
The Hakuba Valley is a place everyone needs to ride at least once in their life. I will show you a safe and satisfying program while having a blast riding next to you. You should be able to assess your skills and know how to ride to your abilities, and this area caters to every level of snowboarder.

You will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of this program. I am not a certified mountain guide, so please keep in mind that, for safety reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
