I invite you to spend an amazing day in Shiga Kogen, riding the best slopes of this Japanese ski resort in the company of a professional athlete. Join a group and start the adventure!
Located in Nagano, the Shiga Kogen ski resort is a prime snowboard holiday destination. It has been a popular resort for a long time, and it became internationally renown in 1998 in the event of the Nagano Winter Olympics.
The terrain in Shiga Kogen is extremely varied, particularly for snowboarders. There are many great options for all levels. There are 19 ski areas, very well connected, that make up 600 hectares of terrain. If the conditions are good, you will enjoy the dry powder characteristic of inland locations. In Shiga Kogen you will find the biggest ski area in Japan. An compared to Hakuba, the atmosphere here is more laid back.
I am number 2 in the Freeride World Qualifier ranking in Japan. When I am not competing, I take great pleasure in riding with snowboard enthusiasts at my favourite spots. If you join me, it will be a great opportunity to get tips from an expert!
Please note that as I am not a certified guide, we will stay within the boundaries of the ski resort. Going off-piste is not an option, but don’t worry because there are infinite exciting options staying in the pistes! To join this group, you need to be at least an intermediate snowboarder. You should be able to connect turns and safely descend intermediate level slopes without assistance.
My focus will be to make you spend a fun and exciting day. I will also make sure to share with you some pro tips. Overall, the idea is not to have a lesson but to take pleasure in snowboarding.
If you are tempted by the offer, don’t hesitate to book this session! Let’s go riding together in Shiga Kogen 🙂 And if you have more time available, check out this private option where you can choose how long you want the program to be.

Amazing experience with Myoko local. Go is knowledgable and passionate about the mountain and surrounding area, as well as being a very talented snowboarder.

First time snowboarding at a new mountain can be a little intimidating now multiply that feeling when you are doing it in a different country. That was not the case here, Go Biyajima made me feel like I was riding in my back yard. Go is an excellent rider and really made me feel like it was just another day on the mountain riding with homies. I hope this service gets to reach more people and they would be lucky to select Go Biyajima!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
