I promise if you undertake this adventure with me it will be one of the most incredible and amazing experiences of your life, as we rappel down the Bornholmertarnet (Bornholm Tower) in Bornholm, the highest rappel in Denmark at 70m tall, and one that offers sensational and superb views out over the tranquil and idyllic landscape, scenery and terrain of this island paradise.

Bornholm is a Danish island located in the Baltic Sea, and is a popular tourist destination in the Summer owing to its warm weather and abundance of natural scenery ranging from large rock formations to lush green forests and sandy beaches. This makes it an excellent locale for outdoor activities.

The Bornholm Tower is a jaw-dropping 70m tall, and it is the highest place in Denmark one is allowed to rappel.

When we reach the tower we go through all relevant and important safety gear and information, before going up to the top with an instructor.

We then begin the long 70m rappel down, with a helmet, harness and gloves on, as well as a special brake that is tailor-made for longer rappelling trips.

On the way down be sure to look out over the truly outstanding and marvelous scenery we will be exposed to, as the island manages to pack many different landscapes and terrain in to its compact size, the blue water of the Baltic Sea capping it all off.

Once we finish the rappel our adrenaline and mood will be sky high, and the addictive feeling will make you want to continue rappelling at different spots around the world.
