The difficult part about planning a trip in the Pyrenees is not figuring out what to do, it’s having to decide what you don’t have time to do. The reason for that is in this amazing Spanish mountain range, there is an abundance of different places to go, highlights to see, and peaks and ridges to climb. With that said, I believe on this 3 day trip, I have outlined not 1, but 2 amazing climbs for you. While also making sure you rest comfortably in between in a mountain hut that provides its own great views of the range’s landscape.
The 2 different climbs in the Pyrenees that I will guide you through are the Midi d’Ossau (2,885m) and the Mallos de Riglos (1,045m). Each one of these places is very different from the other. However, what they share in common is how much fun they are to climb, and how beautiful they are to see.
The Midi d’Ossau is an exquisite peak that appears unwilling to be conquered. This perception comes as a result of its steep walls and the difficulty to get to it, even when using the normal path. However, once we reach it, I will help you access it. Thus allowing you to enjoy scaling its walls, and providing you with amazing views.
Secondly, the Mallos de Riglos is a series of jagged stone towers, some reaching as high as 300 metres. Just as is the case with the Midi, despite the intimating appearance, you will get to enjoy scaling the Rigos for an entire day.
Send me a request, and join me for 3 days of climbing on 2 unique, but similarly enjoyable rock formations in the Pyrenees mountains.
I can also lead you on another 3 day climbing adventure in Catalonia as well.

Mountain Leader
UIAGM/IFMGA guide from Catalunya.
I was born in 1959, and following a family tradition, I started practicing mountain sports. After a period of learning (in the mountains of Catalunya and the Pyrenees), the influence of the alpine literature drove me to high mountains and the Alps, where I climbed some of the most well-known peaks. Following that, I continued my mountaineering career with winter expeditions, expeditions outside Europe, and adventures on my own. This passion made me decide to become a mountain guide, and I am fully dedicated to this profession all year long.
Other interests I have are photography, writing and teaching.
