Panoramic Hike to Gourdon

A hiking tour to Gourdon, one of the most beautiful villages in France. It is a place easily accessible for all. We will walk on a limestone plateau with La Côte d’Azur and the Gorges du Loup as background. On our way, surely we will find many traces of human occupation of the past. Then, we will cross a very mysterious forest until arriving at Gourdon, where we will finally be able to rest for a while and have something to drink. A beautiful experience along the coastline of Les Alpes Maritimes.

Please note that this tour will take around 4 hours of hiking with an altitude gain of 300 meters.

Night Trekking – Calern Plateau

A hike from Caussols, in the heart of the Préalpes d’Azur, between 8 pm and midnight. It is a trail accessible to anyone who practices a regular physical activity. At the beginning of this hike we will share a dinner together. Depending on the season, the crepuscular lights will allow us to admire the Western landscapes in direction to the Verdon Regional Natural Park. I strongly recommend to do this hike under the new moon stage (no moon). Thus, you can fully enjoy the stars in the sky. On the way you will also discover a curious cave chapel. And at the end of this amazing experience you’ll live the pleasure of walking and lighting your own way using a headlamp.

The total walking time of this trek is about 3 hours with 350 meters of positive altitude gain.

Hiking tour in Col Du Ferrier

It is an amazing hike ideal for the autumn. It is a colorful trek among the forest of the Vallon de Nans. In addition, you will also discover the plateau of Canaux and enjoy a panoramic lunch below the summit of Thiey.

This trail consists in 300 meters of vertical drop and will take us 4 hours of walk in total.

A medium-difficulty trek for those with a good physical shape. Our starting point will be Courmes, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Préalpes d’Azur. It will be a loop trail along which you can notice some vestiges of a traditional human life of the past. Besides that, you’ll discover all the secrets of a eroded geology. At the end of the hike you’ll have the opportunity of  visiting the beautiful village of Courmes.

Totally, this trek will take 5 hours of walking and 800 meters of positive gain.
