The Prachov rocks are a diamond of the Bohemian Paradise, in Czech Republic. Rock climbing here started over 100 years ago.
In the Prachov rocks there are various climbing options in labyrinth of sandstone towers. Indeed, we can practice slab, friction or crack climbing, from thin fingers crack to chimneys. Moreover, if you want and you have the skills we can even jump from tower to tower.
One of the most popular is the Dresden Tower (Drážďanská věž). The Praying Rock ( orHand of the Monk) is also very popular.
We will meet in the region and start climbing! We can go for one or more days.
Interested in rock climbing in this very special spot of the Bohemian Paradise? Then please send me a request indicating the number of days you want to come. I would love guiding you here! And there are other great options for climbing in the area that you can check out here.

Mountain Guide
My name is Vojtěch but everybody calls me Watt. I started climbing when I was 16. In 2009 I got certified as a mountain guide.
My favourite activities include climbing, MTB, skiing and trail running.
These are some of my favourite crags: Prachovské skály, Bišík and Zbiroh (sandstone in The Bohemian Paradise) and Moravian Karst (limestone).
One of my best climbing achievements was in Val Qualido (Italy), also the north face of Malý Kežmarský štít, in the High Tatras (Slovakia), and many more!
As a side job, I am the editor in chief of an outdoor web, I write methodology articles for climbing magazines and climbing comics.

We didn't get to climb Prachov Rocks, due to unfortunate timing... it was forbidden due to being too wet after multiple days of rain before we arrived. However, we did visit there, and spent 3 days climbing at another spot where climbing was allowed. All in all, it was a great trip. Good first taste of Czech sandstone climbing for me and my son, and the guide, Vojtech was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating, and a very impressive climber 💪 Happy with what we got done.
