Point Reyes is a touristic bay in Northern California State, on the Pacific coast. I want to invite you there! It will be an incredible backpacking expedition.
All the bay has amazing landscapes, many hiking trails and a dense forest. You can also find lakes, whales and of course, the stunning Pacific Ocean.
During this 2-day trek you will discover all the secrets of this protected area. Besides, you will learn many backpacking tips that will be useful for future treks. For example, I can teach you:
How to build a tent
How to prepare a balanced backpack
What to eat in a wild environment
How to make fire
Furthermore, this backpacking hike in Point Reyes is suitable for all levels. The only requirement is to be well trained so that you can enjoy all the walks.
This hiking adventure is a great plan for a weekend. Contact me and ask me any question you have about the next departures. I will be waiting for you anxiously!
We'll begin early this morning in San Francisco, where we'll meet our fellow hikers and guides. After a brief orientation, pack check, and distribution of group gear we'll head north towards Point Reyes National Seashore. After a short drive through the city, we'll cross the Golden Gate Bridge and head into the hills. We'll have a treat at Point Reyes Station before entering the park (gluten-free and vegan options available). We'll pop into Bear Valley Visitor Center for a visit before we start the trail. The hike will take us on beautifully maintained trails and stunning views. We'll spend the night at our campsite that overlooks the Pacific Ocean, near the beach.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

All perfect

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
