Pic du Midi d’Ossau 1-day guided ascent

Come with me to the iconic Pic du Midi d’Ossau, a volcanic massif in the French Pyrenees. This incredible one-day adventure will reward us with the most impressive views from the top that you can imagine. Join me!

For this wonderful day, we’ll meet at Anéou’s Parking and begin our ascent towards the Pombie shelter. Then, we’ll cross the Great Raillère that descends between Petit and Grand Pic and Pombie. From this point, we’ll put on the harness to prevent any accidents passing through the chimneys. We’ll arrive at Kidney Pombie and then make our way to the summit, where the 360-view is simply breathtaking. Then we’ll follow the same route on our way back.

This is an ascent that anybody, no matter what their technical skills are, can do. Nonetheless, it is physically challenging, so make sure you are in perfect physical condition for the ascent.
