Resting beside the Petit Capucin, at a height of 3,535 metres, is the Pic Adolphe Rey. This wonderful peak is the kind of mountain that looks like it can’t be conquered. The great thing about it however is that it can because the Pic Adolphe provides rock climbers with many routes that allow you to do it. Those routes are along the mountain’s main south face. The most popular of those routes is the Salluard route, which we will take.
Throughout the day long climb, you will feel the thrill that only rock climbing can offer. You will feel the fresh air, and the excitement of slowly making your way up to the summit. And when you finally reach the summit, the views you will get to enjoy are incredible. You will get to see all of the surrounding peaks, valleys and glaciers of the Mont Blanc massif.
The itinerary for the day is fairly straightforward. We will begin the trip at the Skyway cable car, which we will take to the Punta Helbronner (3,462m). Afterwards, while roped to your guide, with crampons on your feet, you will walk toward the base of the Pic Adolphe. Once there, you will make your way to the beautiful summit, where you can stay and admire the view. Finally, when you’ve taken in all you can, you will then before rappel your way back down.
There is an abundance of fine peaks, walls, and stone faces to climb in the Mont Blanc massif, but the Pic Adolphe Rey is one of the finest. So if you want to conquer this peak, just send me a request.

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
