Description
Pedraforca is an emblematic mountain in Catalonia. Join me to discover this beautiful peak and then enjoy the taste of the delicious local cuisine.
Located in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, in the Comarca of Bergueda, Pedraforca is renowned for its unique shape and draws in so much attention that it has been declared a Natural Site of National Interest. On this adventure, we will not only explore the mountain but also get a taste of the local flavor on a special 3-course meal that will give you a full feel of what Catalonia is all about.
We will set off early and spend around 5 to 7 hours climbing over a distance of 17km (10.5 mi). The route we will take is circular, so we will get a 360º experience of Pedraforca. On the way, we will walk through some of the mountain’s rockier faces as well as through its fragrant pine trees and valleys.
Keep in mind that this is a challenging route that will require you to have a good level of fitness. Furthermore, you will need to bring adequate clothing and plenty of water for the trek. Of course, I will be there every step of the way to help and guide you!

- All private groups must have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants, you can also join an open group. PRICE INCLUDES transport during the trip in a comfortable van that seats 9 people, a 3course meal with a beverage, and safety + first-aid equipment. PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE personal equipment, any expense that may arise from client's decision to leave the excursion (except accidents), any other service that is not specified in the included list.

My name is Sergi, I am behind BivacTravel and I look forward to enjoying the mountain with you!
Ever since I was a child I felt a special connection with nature. I visited the Pyrenees every weekend with my parents and sister, and there, I developed a deep respect for the environment. The mountains inspired me and shaped who I am today.
I trained professionally at the High Performance Center of Sant Cugat del Vallés. I am a UIMLA mountain guide, a member of the AEGM Spanish Association of Mountain Guides, a member of the ECAM Escola Catalana d'Alta Muntanya, and I am also registered at the ROPEC Official Register of Professionals de l'Esport de Catalunya. I also have snow and avalanches training by the private ACNA institute.
Some of the peaks I have climbed peaks include the Matterhorn by the Italian route (Crest of the Leone), different four-thousanders of the Alps, as well as the Damavand in Iran (5,640mt) by its north face. Whenever I can, I look for new corners to discover!
I collaborate with a group of qualified professionals that have a long trajectory in offering premium mountain adventure services to ensure that you enjoy the environment in total safety, with the added value of getting to know the local culture, interpreting the flora and fauna, geology, and also discovering remote corners to enjoy moments of peace and relaxation.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
