Description

Discover some of the most stunning views of Brazil while hiking in the state park of Pedra Branca

It is one of the largest urban parks on the planet and contains the Pico da Pedra Branca, the highest peak in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

During this 6-hour hiking tour, you’ll discover remarkable sights and thrilling climbs.

We’ll begin on the trail from the municipality of Praia Grande in Barra de Guaratiba. After 2 miles of hiking we’ll reach the summit of 354 meters, as we will make regular stops at key viewpoints along the way.

Capture sublime panoramas of of Rio’s sandy beaches, including Praia do Perigoso, Praia do Meio, Grumari, Pontal do Recreio, Barra da Tijuca, Pedra da Gávea, and the Restinga da Marambaia.

We’ll stop at the Pedra do Telégrafo, the rock face that seemly dangles off the mountaintop, and is an iconic place for capturing surreal photos.

We’ll also be able to take in views of the surrounding mountains of the state park as well as the Tijuca National Park.
