Description

There is an abundance of great rock climbing spots throughout the Pays des Ecrins area of France.

On this half-day, approximately 3 hour trip, I would like to guide you through a fantastic rock climbing experience. With several gorgeous valleys to choose from, I have no doubt we can find you the perfect cliffs to climb.

Some options to choose from include the following.

  • Argentiere Bessee Fournel, facing both the south and north

  • Freissinieres

  • The Vignettes

  • Saint Martin de Queyrieres

  • Casse de Prelles

  • Felvoux Ailefroide

Our choice as to where we will rock climb will depend on different factors. They include your skill level and the kind of rock climbing experience you want to enjoy. In regards to weather, during the summer months, the climate in the Pays des Ecrins area is exquisite. Bright sun and blue sky will more than likely be glaring down upon you as you enjoy your climbing.

Rock climbing is a physical activity. As a result, it is important that participants are in good physical condition. However, due to the variety of cliffs available, there really is something for anybody on this trip. So much so that even children as young as 8 years old can enjoy this half-day adventure!

If you want to rock climb in France, the Pays des Ecrins area is a great place to go. If you want to join me, whether by yourself, with friends, or the family, all you have to do is send me a request. I look forward to guiding you.

I also lead a wonderful half-day via ferrata trip in the Freissiniers area as well.

We had a fantastic trip. Our guide kept us safe, but also stretched us and taught us new skills along the way - it doesn't get much better than that!
