Overnight Backpacking in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area, near Aspen (2 days)

Overnight backpacking is an adventure no matter where you do it. There is just something about trekking through nature, seeing the forests and peaks and hearing the rivers, creeks and wildlife that simply cannot be replicated. However, getting to enjoy an overnight backpacking trek through a place like the Flat Tops Wilderness Area in Colorado takes the fun of the experience and heightens it.

The Flat Tops Wilderness Area is located near Aspen, as well as Glenwood Springs. The area consists of over 200,000 acres of beautiful natural landscape. The views are nothing short of spectacular, especially when considering you will always be in full view of the Rocky Mountains. The area you will get to explore is also very diverse as well. You will get to trek through high buttes, along with alpine meadows and vast open spaces. Thus providing you with an exceptionally varied hiking experience. And at the end of the day, when you’re tired and are looking for a spot to rest, relax and reflect on all you’ve seen, we will set up camp under the moon and stars.

In order to participate on this trip, you don’t require extensive experience, though any prior hiking experience is a plus. However, you should be in good physical condition, as we will be covering several miles throughout the trip.
