One or more days of heliboarding in Troll Peninsula

Today I bring many interesting options for skiers and snowboarders in search of some ski touring and heliboarding in the Icelandic Trollaskagi, also known as Troll Peninsula.

This stunning peninsula is located in North Iceland, between the fjords of Eyjafjörður and Skagafjörður. This is one of my favorite places to guide since Troll Peninsula offers a remote environment full of mountains, deep valleys and many glaciers to have a really memorable skiing time.

I would also like to guide you there because it has an easy access to the skiing areas. Once we’re there we can even ski down to the sea! In addition, helicopter flights give us many possibilities and flexibility. That way if it’s not good in one place or weather does not help, we can go somewhere else. And it’s not necessary for you to be an expert skier or snowboarder. Troll Peninsula has something for everyone, from super easy to hard itineraries.

The best period for heliboarding and ski touring is from March to June but from November till end of February is a good option too.
