The Rocky Mountains of Canada are truly a sight to behold. They are part of the American Cordillera, are the source of many major rivers, and are surrounded by abundant forests, lakes, and other mountain features that make them a unique worldwide destination.
The amalgamation of these features makes our program an exciting way to explore Alberta and the country. By exploring the historic landforms of this particular area, you get a glimpse at authentic natural beauty.
The wildlife here is unique, diverse, and plentiful. Southern Alberta is home to many popular mammal species like bears, elk, beavers, and even porcupines. Birds of prey patrol the skies, including bald eagles and red-tailed hawks, and you have a great opportunity to see loons and herons visiting during the summer.
The Bow Valley has incredible pine forests and undisturbed mountain meadows. The climate allows for the varied and rare ecosystems to thrive and flourish, and to experience this in the summer months makes it comfortable and pleasant.
Our hike and scramble will take place in the middle of all of this splendor. You will be exposed to stunning views and unimaginable panoramas; the epitome of the Canadian Rockies. You will have a great chance to see the wildlife as you tour through the natural habitat.
I am proud to call this area home, and more than happy to share my knowledge along an exciting trek through my favorite parts of the region. We can plan a short and sweet hike through some of the more relaxed routes, or we can take a more challenging path and take on a difficult rock scramble. The choice is yours.
We can design a program for all levels and abilities, so everyone is welcome on this program. Let me know what your goals are and it would be my pleasure to help you achieve them while having a fun and safe day at the same time.
Take your dream hike into the wilderness of Alberta and book this day program NOW!
I can also introduce you to the world of rock climbing in the Bow Valley. Or we can find the perfect multi-pitch route in Canmore, just for you!

I recommend booking with Brent no matter what level of climber you are. He is able to cater the day to exactly what you'll be looking for. In my experience, making the transition to outdoor climbing can be intimidating for a number of reasons. But with the way these routes are bolted, there's a level of comfort not typically found outdoors. Again, I recommend this to anyone at any level. It can be as challenging or as easy of a day as you want it to be.

Brent single-handedly convinced us that we need to return to Canmore. He was highly meticulous and professional, which everyone who is climbing should appreciate in a guide. Thanks Brent! You made our trip amazing.

Admin was efficient for paying Communications were hit and miss. Took too long to answer questions about the day / route etc. We were beginners and the guide chose a route that was too challenging. One member of group dropped out the day before. The requested refund never even got a reply about. Let alone confirmation
