Olympic National Park 1-night backpacking hike

It will be an unforgettable hiking night along that beach of Shi Shi.

The Olympic National Park is an amazing protected area located in the state of Washington. The Olympic Peninsula can be divided into 3 interesting regions: Olympic Mounts, the mild-humid forest and our destination, the Pacific Coast.

We will walk across the heart of the jungle, knowing the history of Makah tribe. After that, we will be finally in a earthly paradise oceanfront: Shi Shi Beach.

The Shi Shi beach is part of the fantastic Olympic National Park and it still preserves virgin sections. Its main features are:

• Huge hoodoo rocks

• A vast vegetation

By the end of this hiking trip we will set up our camp on the seaside and make some fire to enjoy a deserved dinner.

During this backpacking trip in the Olympic National Park you don’t need any technical skill. The only requirement in to be well trained so you can support the weight of the backpack. And not only it is a physical experience, but also a learning trip. You will learn many backpacking techniques, for example:

• How to collect food in a wild habitat

• What to bring with you in a 1-day trip like this

• How to prepare your backpack

• How to set up a tent properly

• How to use camping gear such as cooking systems
