You will be transferred from the Oslo airport to the Lysebu hotel which boasts stunning views of the Oslo fjord and the Norwegian capital. Dinner will be a 4-course welcome meal made with local produce.
The starting point of our tour will be, Holmenkollen, a ski arena that hosted the 1952 Olympics and is one of Oslo’s main attractions. We will set out on the spectacular network of trails from Holmenkollen, one of the most well-known enduro sites in the area. We will alternate between biking and taking the tram to go uphill, and throughout the day, we will enjoy amazing views, explore rugged trails, and visit historical spots.
Distance – 24 km
700 hm climb – 700 hm descent
We will pick one of the thrilling descents towards the city from Holmenkollen before boarding the tram to another of Oslo's stunning mountain biking locations. There are many different trails in the spruce forest of Lillomarka. After taking in the scenery and trails, we will enjoy some urban life and an afterbike at one of Oslo's distinctive local brewpubs. Then, our driver will pick us up and we will enjoy a 4-hour ride to Alvdal.
Distance – 26 km
700 hm climb – 700 hm descent
In Alvdal, we will stay at Urørt Lodge, a family farm that serves as the mountain biking hotspot in the area. On our first day, we will go to Mt. Tron, where we will ride the country's second-highest mountain route up to a plateau. We will choose the nicest and finest routes as we descend from the plateau, which has 800 vertical meters of great singletrack.
Distance – 24 km
600 hm climb – 1000 hm descent
After breakfast, we will set off along the ancient paths left by the area's former mines. We will pass some of Norway's most authentic summer farms along the way. Our tour finishes with a fun descent from the top of the historic cableway that connected the mines to the railway. We will end in our accommodation at the Kvebergsøya farm hotel, a really special spot in the Norwegian Alps.
Distance: 30 km
750 hm climb – 1000 hm descent
The day's singletrack practically begins at our front door. As we go through it toward Rondane National Park, we will enjoy two stunning descents surrounded by the picturesque Rondane Mountains. After our last descent, we will be picked up and driven to our accommodation at Spidsbergseter Resort Rondane along the National Scenic Route Rondane. When we arrive, we can have a relaxing swim at Karlsvogna before we enjoy a dinner made with local ingredients.
Distance: 20 km
750 hm climb – 550 hm descent
On our final day of biking, we will enjoy the trails and descents that surround the Olympic downhill skiing venue in Lillehammer. After resting at Spidsbergseter Resort Rondane, we hop back on our bikes and head to a unique mountain biking location, that is particularly interesting because of the combination of singletracks above and below the treeline. We will end the day on a breathtaking track that descends to Ringebu's center. Finally, we will be picked up and taken back to Spidsbergseter Resort, where we will have a farewell dinner to conclude our adventure.
Distance: 30 km
600 hm climb – 1200 hm descent
You will be transferred to the airport.
We recommend full suspension bikes. We also provide the option of renting a suitable bike, tailored for the tour.
