Join one of our seasoned guides for the adventure of a lifetime in America’s most iconic national park!
Your four-day trek to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back again begins with an exhilarating hike down Grandview Trail, which affords many impressive vistas of the canyon and surrounding landscape, to Horseshoe Mesa. Once there you will be able to explore the Cave of Domes.
We then continue our descent into the canyon, passing through the Tonto Plateau above the Inner Gorge. From here, we will be gazing up at the majestically massive canyon walls and towers above us — a sight very few people will see in their lifetimes!
The next leg of our trip takes us along the bank of the Colorado River and into the breathtaking Granite Gorge and then onto Red Canyon. Red Canyon’s lower layers are composed of Hakatai Shale, which is the most brilliant crimson of any geologic formation in the Grand Canyon.
Finally, we will ascend out of the Canyon to the South Rim along the New Hance Trail, which will afford us all one last glorious look into this beloved landmark.
We advise that participants are in shape before we begin the trek, which is about 20 miles in length with an elevation loss and gain of 4,900 and 4,300 feet, respectively. Due to the immense size of the canyon, temperatures will change throughout the duration of our trip, so please dress accordingly.
Book now for the trek of a lifetime through some of the most beautiful and out-of-this-world terrain that you will find anywhere!
