The Naranjo de Bulnes, known in Asturias as Picu Uriellu, is a magnificent limestone peak located in the north of Spain. I would like to invite you to climb one of its walls on a 2-day program and enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds it.
There are several ascent options to get to the top of this 2,519 meter peak. They all include a wide variety of climbs and incredible views of the Picos de Europa. I propose the following:
South Face: Direct route (150 meters).
East Face: The Amistad con el diablo (350 meters) route, which translates to friendship with the Devil! Or, the Cepeda route (350 meters).
North Face: Pidal-Cainejo route (650 meters).
West Face: Murciana (600 meters), Rabada-Navarro or Leiva (500 meters) routes.
Whichever way we choose to ascend, our program will follow a similar structure. First, we will go towards the Vega de Urriellu Refuge through Pandébano or Fuente De cablecar. We’ll spend the night there, and then, the second day, we’ll hike to the beginning of our chosen route and climb the Naranjo de Bulnes.
It is important that you have some prior climbing experience before tackling this route. Also, you will need to be physically fit. Of course, I will be there to assist and guide you with whatever you may need.
Would you like to participate in an exhilarating climbing adventure in Spain? Then join me on this unique climb of the stunning Naranjo de Bulnes. I would love to show you this spanish gem.
If you are looking for more options, I also offer a guided ascent to Picos of Europa. Be sure to check it out.

Mountain Guide
I am a Leonese and in love with the mountains, especially the Cantabrian Mountains and the Picos de Europa. I grew up in her, maybe that's where love arose and the desire to spend more and more time in her lap. It was for this reason that, early on, I wanted to learn to combine my two passions: education and guidance, in all types of terrain, around the world.
Guide of high mountain (UIAGM), sports technician in rock climbing and in half mountain (UIMLA) are the qualifications that go to me in the world of the mountain. These are inherently intertwined with another that, in his day, I considered necessary for a serious and rigorous teaching of any sports field: bachelor's degree in psycho-pedagogy and diploma in physical education.
All this added to my personal and work experience in the world of the mountain and the sport make that I can enjoy my work and teach with guarantees of quality.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
