Located in the foothills of the Rockies in Alberta, Canmore is a great spot to prepare for a wilderness excursion. With various sub-mountain ranges, glacial lakes, and lush forests, the land is as gorgeous as it is exciting. To the west is Banff National Park, and the town and area have stunning views of all the natural features.
The region boasts a wide variety of wildlife and forests that extend into the horizon. The are panoramas and views straight out of your dreams; if you were looking for a trip into nature, it would be hard to imagine anything more beautiful than this.
For rock climbers, it is a hub for excursions of every length and style. Many of the top spots have varying levels of difficulty to cater to everyone, and the volume of available routes makes it possible to have a unique and personal experience on some of the most popular rock faces in Canada.
Our program is designed for multi-pitch tours, and while we have great courses outside of Canmore at Yam Bluffs, you can choose one of our other incredible sites to get valuable climbing time. We can tailor your program together and make it a special experience that you won´t be able to forget.
Whether you have been climbing for a long time, or you are just getting started on the mountain, I am more than happy to guide you on a day-long program that suits your abilities and fitness. As this will be a multi-pitch course, any climbing experience will be considered an asset.
We want to have a safe and relaxing time, and Canmore is like a second home for me. We will share the amazing beauty of our course within the safe and satisfying guidance of the program.
Give yourself the gift of nature and book this day program rock climbing the best multi-pitch routes in Canmore and Canada!
We can also enjoy a half- or full-day introductory course in the Bow Valley at Yam Bluffs. Or we can take a two-day trek to Wapta Glacier.

I recommend booking with Brent no matter what level of climber you are. He is able to cater the day to exactly what you'll be looking for. In my experience, making the transition to outdoor climbing can be intimidating for a number of reasons. But with the way these routes are bolted, there's a level of comfort not typically found outdoors. Again, I recommend this to anyone at any level. It can be as challenging or as easy of a day as you want it to be.

Brent single-handedly convinced us that we need to return to Canmore. He was highly meticulous and professional, which everyone who is climbing should appreciate in a guide. Thanks Brent! You made our trip amazing.

Brent is an excellent guide. He was stoked to be able to share his mountain environment with others. Unfortunately he had damaged his knee so arranged for another local guide to take me out for the day. Ethan was also exceptional. Brent got in contact to ensure my day was tailored to me my experience and to ensure I got the most out of the day. I was without a car so Brent picked me up and dropped me off I had a great morning in the mountains learning new techniques for multi pitch routes and then spent the afternoon working on my trad gear placement and anchor building. Excellent instruction on gear placement and rating it. We fitted so much into the day. But always with an inclusive teaching style. I can’t recommend them enough. Both guides passionately sharing their knowledge and teaching skills, keen for their clients to learn to be more independent safer and capable in the mountains.
