Mt. Triglav 4-day guided trekking expedition

Covering a great part of Slovenia, and all the way to Italy, the Julian Alps are a magnificent mountain range in the Limestone Alps. The tallest mountain within the Julian Alps, and the highest one in Slovenia is Mount Triglav, that stands at 2,864 meters.

This part of the world is famous for having over 400 peaks that rise above the 2,000 meters. Mt. Triglav is the most iconic, it is in fact and emblematic peak in Slovenia. However, there are other equally notorious and impressive peaks such as Razor (2,601m), Jalovec (2,645m), Mangart (2,679m) and Škrlatica (2,740m).

The Triglav National Park named after Mount Triglav, is the biggest protected natural area in Slovenia. And it covers most of the Julian Alps. Here, we’ll find enchanting forests of beech, spruce and larch. But there are many other species that inhabit these lands. Moreover, the terrain we’ll run into will be mainly grass areas, woods and rocky paths. However, we’ll also visit dazzling valleys such as the Vatra Valley.

Please note that this is a hike with a sustained level. Also, you’ll require to have the essential hiking equipment. If you don’t have any, please let me know so we make the necessary arrangements. Finally, remember that the itinerary can change due to bad weather or potentially dangerous conditions. But I’ll make sure we follow every important rule to ensure your safety throughout this trip.
