Description

Come with me on this expedition to reach the summit of the amazing Mt Kazbek! We will spend 8 days together among beautiful landscapes until finally reaching the summit of this incredible mountain.

Mt Kazbek (5033m) is famous for being one of the Caucasus’ highest and most breathtaking peaks. The Kazbek region is located on the eastern part of the Central Caucasus. It is practically an independent mountain range!

The setting will really amaze you because of the many peaks in the region. They spread out as if they were the fingers of a hand looking northwards to the Highlands of Dagestan. And they join the main ridge of the Caucasus only at one point, at the watershed of the two big rivers of Ardon and Terek.

You’ll get to see a lot of 4000ers on this ascent. For example, the Jimarai-Khokh with its 4780m lies close to the Kazbek, which, at 5330m, is the region’s highest peak.

So come with me to climb Mt Kazbek in the Caucasus. You will have the chance to witness the magnificence of one of the world’s most fascinating mountain ranges! Book your place on this trip.

I work together with a group of guides, so if I’m not available, one of my colleagues will guide you!

Vladimir was our guide for summiting of Mount Kazbegi in July, 2019. He was a brilliant guide, as well as champion snow boarder, and I would highly recommend him for anyone planning climbing Kazbegi or Elbrus.
