Rising to 3,776 meters (12,389 feet) in elevation, Mt Fuji is not only the highest peak in Japan but is also a powerful cultural and religious symbol for its people.
For those who do not want to make the long and challenging hike up to the summit, but still want to appreciate all of its beauty, then this Mt Fuji hiking program is perfect for you.
Starting from Shin-Fuji Station, we will transfer all the way up to the fifth station on the flank of the mountain and enjoy a brief 30 minute hike up to the sixth station.
Along the way, you will have plenty of time to enjoy all of the mountain’s stunning scenery and get great views up toward the summit as well as out over the landscape around us.
After eating a traditional noodle lunch, we will return back to the fifth station and transfer to the Mt Fuji Shiraito Waterfalls, which are a World Heritage Landmark and are astoundingly beautiful.
After 30 minutes to explore the area around the falls and take plenty of photographs, we continue on to the next stop of the tour: Fujisan World Heritage Center.
Here, we will have the option to visit some hot springs as well as explore the museum. After we’ve had our fill here, we will transfer back to Shin-Fuji Station and say our goodbyes.
