Description

Mount Forato (1,230m) is a wonderful peak in the Apuan Alps of Northern Italy. Even though the peak is not enormous in the way most people think of mountains, it is still lovely. And when you see it along with the gorgeous landscape of Tuscany all around it, the peak looks even better.

On this trip, we have planned a fantastic adventure that is perfect for the whole family, especially children. This adventure is via ferrata. For anybody who has had the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience, you already know how amazing it is. And we are glad to offer that experience to children, so they too can enjoy it.

We believe that climbing is a great activity for people who are looking to improve their fitness. We also believe it helps improve a person's memory, motor skills, concentration, discipline, coordination, and many other important skills. Thus making it a great teaching tool for children. However, when it comes to activities like this, especially when children are involved, safety is absolutely the first priority. And we'll see to it that you, and your children, are safe at all times during this exciting activity.

Of course, this wonderful adventure is not just about learning. It is also a great deal of fun, for the whole family! You will get to hear your kids laughing as they make their way around the ridges of Mount Forato, while also gaining appreciation for how beautiful the peak, along with the natural landscape around it, really is.

If you are looking for a thrilling outdoor experience that you and your children can enjoy, then this trip is definitely for you. So send us a request, and enjoy a day of via ferrata at Mount Forato in Tuscany, Italy.

We also offer a one-day, private, basic rock climbing course in the Falesia de Monsummano area of Tuscany.

We wanted to try out via ferrate already for a long time. This was our first one and we were going with kids (9 and 11 y.o.) so we decided to find a guide that could accompany us. Pasquale was a perfect guide - experienced, interesting and caring. We felt safe and had a great time! Thank you!
