Description

The Lyngen Alps in Northern Norway is a striking and picturesque region full of wild and raw natural beauty, towering fjords and epic views, and I will guide you on a week-long adventure of mountain biking and sailing through the area, as we dock each day at a new location where we can mountain bike all day through the rugged and awesome tracks and trails on offer.

The Lyngen Alps are located in the far North of Norway, close to the city of Tromso and above the Arctic Circle, and are renowned throughout the world for their epic scale and awe-inspiring scenery.

On the first day we will meet in Tromso, whereby we take the short journey over to Lyngen, and from there we get on our boat and home for the next week and explore the waterways beneath the impressive fjords.

Over the next 7 days we will disembark the boat every morning and head off mountain biking all day, as we explore the untouched and wild territory amongst the vast tracts of forest and shrub.

Often some of the places we go are generally inaccessible to people, therefore it can be quite a challenge to bike to the top of the tracks, however the breath-taking views once we reach the top are well worth it, as we look out over the glorious setting below.

We return to Tromso on the 7th day to sight-see and discover the delights of this charming city, before spending the night in a hotel and finishing the trip the next morning.
