Mount Toubkal, 3-day trekking in Morocco

Situated in the heart of Morocco's snow-capped Atlas Mountains, Mount Toubkal is the perfect destination for a three-day trekking experience!

Rising to 4,167 meters (13,671 ft) in elevation, Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and all of Morocco. It is also one of the few peaks in the country that has snow almost year-round.

Starting from Marrakech, we will make a trekking approach through the incredibly scenic Azzadene Valley, before climbing up to Toubkal's lofty summit.

The adventure begins after we pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive to Imlil.

From here, we will trek for two days through the rugged and beautiful scenery of the Azzadene Valley, passing Tizi n’Mzik (2,450 m) and the stunning Ighouliden waterfalls en route to the mountain hut.

Getting an early start on the third day, we will hike up to the summit of Mount Toubkal, ascending 900 vertical meters. From the summit, we will enjoy phenomenal views out over the rest of the Atlas Mountains and into the Sahara Desert!

After getting our fill of the view, we will return back to the mountain hut for lunch, before returning to Imlil and then Marrakech.
