All year
If you are looking for a unique summit experience, this climbing trip to Mount Toubkal is the best choice. As you may know, it is the highest peak in North Africa and now you have the opportunity to reach its top even if you do not have the technical knowledge.
This 3-day ascent I am proposing today starts in Imlil. From there, I can take you directly up to the hut, where we’ll spend the first night. The following morning we’ll set off early in order to reach the summit before midday. Then, we’ll return to the hut to rest and sleep so that we can go back down to Imlil by the third day of adventure.
If you are interested in this climb you can find more details of the day-by-day itinerary at the end of this description.
Finally, let me tell you that I always recommend to add one more day to this expedition, especially if you have no previous experience in climbing. Please keep in mind that acclimatization is very important to enjoy this ascent to the maximum. In addition to that, it is always good to have an extra day for the instabilities of the weather, especially during the winter.
So, what are you waiting for to come with me to Toubkal? It’s an experience you won’t forget in your life! Please fill the form and let’s conquer the highest mountain of the Atlas Mountains.
Walk from Imlil into the Toubkal massif, passing the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. We’ll arrive at the mountain hut at 3200 meters.
We’ll start early in the morning in direction to the summit of Toubkal. After the summit attack, we’ll descend to the hut for a second night.
With plenty of time to enjoy the views and scenery of the High Atlas mountains, we go back down to Imlil. After the lunch time we’ll take a taxi to return to Marrakech.

Mountain Leader
I am a certified International Mountain Leader and a Summer Mountain Leader (UK). In addition, I hold a Diploma in Conservation and Wildlife Management.
Originally from Great Britain, I am now based near Marrakech, in Morocco. Actually, in a Berber town at the foot of the Berber Mountains.
The love for travel runs in my veins. In the Sahara I lived with nomads. In Siberia I met reindeer herders. In Mongolia I traveled with yurt-dwellers.
The stunning landscapes and nice people of Morocco have enchanted me, which is why I now live here. My goal is sharing with my clients the exotic beauty that I've discovered here.
The environment is of extreme importance to me. In particular, I'm interested in geology and birds of prey.
Besides speaking English and French, I can get by in Berber.
My work is not limited to this area: I also do the Tour du Mont Blanc trek in the Alps.
