Description

The neighbouring peaks of Mount Sief and the Col di Lana are fantastic splitboarding options in the Sella Group.

Located in the Dolomites of Italy, the Sella group massif is home to several peaks, including Mount Sief and the Col di Lana. These 2 peaks, both which are between 2,400 and 2,500 metres, are the perfect place for beginner level splitboarders. And despite the easier time you’ll have on their slopes, they still offer the same incredible views you would get on far more difficult peaks in the Dolomites.

On this trip, there are several different routes you can choose to splitboard on. Both Mount Sief and the Col di Lana are full of scenic and fun options. And I will see to it that based on your abilities and wishes you will have a memorable experience.

Since this trip is at a beginner level, you don’t have to worry about having a lot of experience. Instead, the focus will be on instructing you, and giving you ample time to practice. However, you should be in good enough physical condition to manage the slopes.

Even though this trip is only for a single day, there is a lot to experience. From the unforgettable views, to the fun, to the teaching aspect, I have no doubt you will remember this trip long after it has concluded. And I have no doubt you will want to return to the Dolomites and enjoy more of its slopes.

So send me a request, come to Mount Sief and the Col di Lana, and enjoy a great day of easy splitboarding. You’ll be glad you did!

I also offer another beginner level splitboarding day trip in the gorgeous Mondeval valley.

Mountain Guide

I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients.

I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering.

Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal. I work with other mountain guides in the Veneto area, such as Filippo, Massimo, and my brother Daniele. If I am unavailable on the date you are interested in coming climbing, skiing, or engaging in other activities with me, I can connect you with one of them.

Enrico was an amazing guide!!! My husband and I tackled via ferrata Punta Anna in Cortina which was challenging and exciting. Enrico was very responsive and communicative upfront, detailing the route and what we could expect. On the day of he was an excellent instructor, supportive and patient. He helped us have the best possible time out on our first via ferrata in the Dolomites. He took a ton of photos and videos during our outing which he shared with us afterwards. When we mentioned we would be in the area for another week, he went above and beyond and gave us his recommendations for the best hikes in the area. They were spot on! We would highly recommend using Enrico as a mountain guide!!

Our guide Filippo was fantastic. We insisted on exploring the Delle Trincee which turned out to be outside the ability of our group. Filippo was patient and fun and helped us traverse several sections that matched our ability while keeping our spirits high. The equipment was excellent, the communication with the outfitter was excellent. If you're looking for a guide to help you explore the Dolomites, we had a great experience with Enrico and his team.

We had the most amazing via ferrata experience in Cortina! This was our first time in Cortina and first time doing a via ferrata. Enrico was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable of the area and was also very attentive to safety. We had such a fun time and would recommend him and explore share to all of our friends!
