Mount Etna Skiing adventure in Sicily, Italy

The mighty and active Mount Etna looms large over the pretty Italian island of Sicily, and I will guide you on 3 fun-filled, interesting and exciting days we ski down and around its epic slopes, taking advantage of the ideal conditions, unique terrain and magnificent views out over the rest of the island and out to the Mediterranean Sea.

Mount Etna is an active volcano located on the East Coast of Sicily, Italy, and is the highest active volcano in Europe outside the Caucasus. It is an increasingly popular skiing location, although crowds still remain far fewer than in the rest of Italy.

Over the course of the 3 days, we will experience all the different parts of the mountain, as each section often contains different landscape, scenery and terrain from the others.

This includes a wide variety of slopes, canals, ridges and craters, and at time it seems like we are skiing on the surface of the moon.

One of the best things about this trip is that crowds still manage to remain sparse on the mountain, meaning we are able to ski in relative peace without the worry of too many people.

The sweeping and dramatic views out over Sicily and the Mediterranean are a true highlight, and are a unique selling point for skiing here.
