Description

I have the pleasure to invite you to a great half day trek in Montserrat, the most important massif of Catalunya, Spain.

Montserrat lays 50 km from Barcelona, between La Anoia, Bajo Llobregat and El Bages. On this mountain there is the Sanctuary and Monastery, in commemoration of the Virgin of Montserrat.

My proposal consists in an easy guided trekking tour around the most historical places of the region. During the hike you can visit the ruins of ancient religious buildings, for example San Juan, San Onofre and Santa Magdalena churches, now in ruins.

Besides that, this hiking tour will take us across one of the best areas of the region, full of vegetation and local plants.

This is, therefore, an exhaustive trek that mixes nature, culture, spirituality and enjoyment. Once you finish this 1/2 day hike you will be aware of the real magnitude of Montserrat.

You don’t need previous experience because it is an easy trail. In fact, the total altitude change won’t exceed 200 meters. Besides that, the total duration is 1:30 hours. All you will need is comfortable clothes and hiking shoes.

If you want to join me in this trek, please contact me now. I can give you more details about next departures, booking or any other information. I will be happy to lead this trek in Montserrat, a place I know better than anyone.
