Are you looking to experience some of the best Rock Climbing in Quebec? Join me on this climbing day trip in Montagne d’Argent, a climbing and hiking park located near the town of La Conception, 125 km from Montreal and 150 km from Ottawa.
This tour is ideal for beginners, either if you have some indoor climbing experience and want to do your first outdoor climbs, or if you want to experience this amazing sport for the first time. We will climb single-pitch routes of 30 meters or less, graded between 5.4 and 5.10.
During the day, I will teach and introduce you to the rock climbing basic equipment and movements, and you’ll also learn how to belay and lower your partner.
Anyone from age 8 onwards can join this climbing day. Children 8 or under can join with parental supervision (and with no charge if one of the parents joins and pays).
There are group departures for this tour every Saturday from May to the beginning of October, and every day during the summer holidays. Outside these group departures, you can request other dates. The minimum amount of participants is 4.
This is the schedule for the day:
09:45 AM -> We’ll receive you at our cabin and give you the equipment you’ll need.
10:30 AM -> Technical instruction and demonstration.
11:00 AM – 11: 45 AM -> After the instruction, we will hike to the cliff. It’s a short hike (20 minutes or less).
11:30 AM-3:30 PM -> Supervised climbing, with comments and tips to improve from the instructor.
3:30 PM -> Hike back to the hut.
4 PM -> End of the tour.

Guide Agency
We specialize in teaching rock climbing, ice climbing and mountaineering.
Since 2011, we have taught hundreds of people to climb safely and responsibly. We focus on teaching climbing principles rather than forcing our participants to do or not do this or that. With us, you will know that we have confidence in you and that we really want you to achieve your goals.
Of course, we do this work out of passion, out of the love for discovery and adventure and for the pleasure of spending quality time with our clients.
With that, we look forward to seeing you soon at either end of the rope!

An exceptional day that I recommend to everyone. The guides and facilities exceed my expectations and I am delighted with everything I have learned. I have been doing indoor bouldering for a while and was looking for an initiation to the route, this met all of my needs. Can't wait for the second class!

Thank you very much Léo and Anne-Marie for all the advice and encouragement! It made me want to equip myself with climbing and do it again. I still have several walls to try at the Montagne d'Argent

Everything was awesome and the guide justin is super nice.. My only but important complaint are the shoes. They are really beat up and old and the size selection is very minimal… the shoes are so old and stiff that I even got a blister… time to update them guys
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
