Montserrat day hike from Barcelona

Just outside the busy city of Barcelona, there is an amazing natural and architectural site ready for you to discover! Join me on a day hike to the impressive Montserrat with your friends or family.

To get this program started, I will pick you up at your hotel or accommodation in the city. Later, we will transfer on a luxurious service to the location where the hike begins.

Montserrat is a world-known religious icon and sanctuary. Its Benedictine Monastery is amazingly nestled in the cliffs of the mountain. This is also considered Catalonia's most important mountain. The area features impressive geological formations. It is a great option to explore something different and natural only 30 km from Barcelona!

The main idea for this private tour is for you to enjoy the program according to your fitness level and goals. Based on this, I will help you decide what and how much of the area you want me to guide you around.

There are three possible routes to choose from for this program:

• ROUTE 1 (Levels 1 & 2): Open to everyone! – It includes fantastic views from the top of the St Joan tram cable. Duration of the hike: 2 hours
• ROUTE 2 (Levels 3 & 4): For sports lovers – On this version of the tour, I will guide you all the way to the top of Montserrat, St Jeroni. Duration of the hike: 5 hours
• ROUTE 3 (Level 4): The performance approach – This consists on a long distance hike from the west side to the east side, and will take us all the way to the Monastery. Duration of the hike: 7 hours
