The best time to climb these mountains is during the dry season (December to March) when there is less rain and more stable conditions. However, the trip can be done year-round, with each season offering a unique experience.
What is the guide-to-client ratio to climb this mountain?
The guide-to-client ratio for climbing Iztaccihuatl and Pico de Orizaba is a maximum of 1:2. This ensures personalized attention and safety for each climber.

Porters are not included in the trip, but I can help arrange for them if needed. You should be prepared to carry your own personal gear, which will usually weigh around 10-15 kg.
Are there any other special requirements such as permits/insurance/vaccines that we need to consider before the tour?
For insurance, you can review the options proposed by Explore-Share's partner. They offer rescue and travel coverages. More information is available here: https://partner.globalrescue.com/exploreshare/.

This is a private trip, but if you are interested in joining a group, please let me know. We can discuss the possibility of joining other climbers.
Will I need to bring any technical equipment of my own? Is it possible to rent equipment, and if so, what would be the approximate cost of that?
Basic personal gear such as headlamps, sleeping bags, boots, gloves, clothing, sunglasses, water bottles, sunscreen, and a backpack is required. Climbing equipment (helmets, harnesses, crampons, ice-axes, ropes, anchors, etc.) is provided, but bringing your own gear is always a good option for comfort.

Accommodation during the mountain nights is included and will be in huts, tents, camping areas, or mountain hostels when available. Meals during the climb are also included, with vegetarian options available. During rest days and city nights, accommodation and meals are not included and depend on your preferences.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
If there is bad weather, we may need to modify the itinerary to ensure safety. This could involve changing the order of the climbs, delaying a summit attempt, or choosing an alternative route. Safety is always the top priority.

Hi, Oscar is one of the best Guide I have ever seen. With out him (and his team) I can not imagen I could do the three summit in 7 days. Personally, I can not describe how much He was helpful (every single step) during my trip and claiming all tree summits.
Isabella
I have climbed with a lot of great guides, but Oscar is by far and away the best. He is happy every minute he is on a mountain and he wants to share that happiness with everyone. When I was struggling, he was so encouraging and helped me feel like he cared about my safety and success. Thanks to him, I was able to summit! Oscar works hard and does many things that you might not even notice to make the climb safe, fun, and memorable and he does it all with a smile. I would climb anywhere with him!

Oscar was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and great as a guide.
