Join me for this fun and informative 1-day ice climbing trip at the Melt Out!
This 3-pitch, grade 3 waterfall is located in Jasper National Park, just a 15 minute drive north of the Columbia Icefield, and makes for the perfect challenge for people getting into ice climbing.
After driving as close as we can, we will hike for about 15 minutes through dense coniferous forest and up until we reach the bottom of the waterfall and begin.
Over the course of the day we will learn and practice various ice climbing techniques, while surrounded by the remote and sublime beauty of the national park.
The weather is bound to be cold at this time of year, but the sun will shine right down on us as we climb, warming us up just enough.
We will have stunning views as we gear up and climb to the top of the waterfall. The vista from the top is even better and will leave you yearning for more winter adventures in this beautiful landscape.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this 1-day ice climbing trip for beginners up the Melt Out in scenic Jasper National Park!
