Itinerary

Day 1: Aiguille d’Entreves Ridge Traverse - Mont Blanc

This is the high mountain ridge starter (3604m), it will be our first assessment to test both the climbing skills and the overall physical condition. This first step will be useful for the acclimatization process.

Meeting at 8.00 at Skyway Mont Blanc lifts, equipment check, and lift ascent to Pointe Helbronner, the most incredible Mont Blanc landscape view!
Harness, crampons, rope and we are ready to head the Aiguile d’Entreves glacier traverse to reach the beginning of the climb.
The climb, according to the condition, can be on mixed ice/rock terrain or, in the dry season, only rocky terrain; in both situations, we will wear mountaineering boots and crampons if needed.

The traverse will end on the glacier on the opposite side of the mountain.

Day 2: Aroletta Vierge Ridge traverse - Valpelline

With a lower altitude but higher climbing difficulties and continuous exposition, this ridge will spark the fire of your willingness to climb one of the famous ridges of the Alps.

Here the short rope technique, the abseiling, and the sharpness of the ridge will increase our awareness of this particular terrain.

Meeting at 8.00 in Valpelline village to go together with a car to the Crete Seche hut park, and trek to the beginning of the ridge to start the climb.

We will wear mountaineering boots (with a good climbing sole) to gain sensitivity on harder climbs.

The ridge will end close to a very beautiful mountain shelter, trek to the Crete Seche hut, and back to the car.

Day 3: Torino Hut

Meeting after lunch at Skyway Mont Blanc lifts to reach Pointe Helbronner and Torino Hut.
We will spend the afternoon reviewing the rope maneuver, the belay systems, and the crevasse rescue, dinner, and night in the hut.

Day 4: Dent du Geant - Mont Blanc

The ultimate Matterhorn test, this 4013 mt mountain is the perfect playground to refine all the required skills for the Matterhorn ascent.

High Mountain, thin air, great climbing, fixed lines, glacier traverse, vertical abseiling; the perfect cocktail to think big.

Early start to be with the first lights at the beginning of the climbing, from the summit you will have one of the most beautiful views over the Italian, Swiss, and French Alps.
Overhanging abseils to the base of the Dent and back to the hut, Skyway lifts and back home with a huge amount of new experiences!

This program is especially targeted to those who want to think big, climb the Matterhorn ridges, and learn the techniques in a professional manner.

Alexander

We had a fantastic time on the Monte Rosa Tour and couldn’t recommend the team and trip highly enough. The tour was extremely well planned to ensure we had the best chance of achieving our goals whilst having a great time, thanks to a perfect mix of climbing and learning whilst giving our bodies a chance to adapt/ acclimatise and rest. Each day was varied and exciting and our guides were extremely knowledgeable, safe and great fun to spend a week with. The course was perfectly tailored to the teams skill level and allowed us all to have a brilliant time. Can’t thank Enrico, Marco and Francesco enough. Cheers guys
