Description

Rock climbing is a fun, intricate and exhilarating activity. However, it requires a lot of practice and training to do it properly and safely. That is why I’m offering this rock climbing course in the Swiss Canton of Lucerne.

Lucerne is a beautiful place and is well worth a visit. Here we will visit some wonderful rock walls. And from those walls you will get to enjoy some remarkable views of the enormous and gorgeous Swiss Alps.

Rock climbing is a very physically demanding activity. As a result, a lot of attention has to be paid to proper technique, as well as maintaining a high level of physical fitness. However, I believe that rock climbing is also a very mentally demanding activity as well. And that is why during this workshop, we will spend a lot of time focusing on mental coaching because a strong mind is as important to successful rock climbing as a strong body.

During the mental coaching aspects, we will focus on important topics like fear and doubts and how to overcome them. We will also teach you how to maintain proper focus, which is crucial to safe and enjoyable rock climbing. We will also be teaching you the physical elements of rock climbing as well, from proper technique and securing to developing a better movement repertoire.

Do you want to improve your rock climbing abilities, as well as be a mentally stronger climber? Then send me a request and join one of our workshops at Lucerne.

I can also guide you on a great one day climb of the west ridge of Salbit in the Swiss Alps as well.

Mountain Guide

I have a Masters in Geology and I am an IFMGA Mountain Guide. Skiing and climbing are my greatest passions. Also, travelling has become a great fascination of mine. What I love most about it is how it always opens up new horizons and possibilities. I love going to different parts of the world, meet new friends, my ski equipment and climbing shoes always ready to go.

Even if I have been climbing and skiing for more than 20 years, I have several pending projects in mind. At the top of my list are: climbing the Cordillera Real in Bolivia, going to the Parinacota volcano in Chile for some amazing ski mountaineering, and going again on a ski road trip through the Andes.

Skiing and climbing challenges never end! Have a look at my different tours. I hope to have you as a guest in one of them soon.
