Description
Rock climbing in the Dolomites of Italy is a fantastic experience. And in the Odle massif, there are some great spots, one of which is Little Fermeda, which will be the focus of this exciting expedition.
Perfect for climbers of all levels, Little Fermeda can be scaled by experts and beginners alike. Hence making this trip very accessible. However, it is important that you are in good enough physical condition to make the climb. And having some prior rock climbing experience is a plus as well.
Little Fermeda is the first Odle summit from the west side. You can approach the normal route, which we will be taking, from either the Col Raiser top station or the Seceda top station. I prefer the Seceda station, as the path is incredibly scenic and only rises from 300 to 400 meters. Covered with high grass, and very exposed amidst steep meadows, you will get to enjoy some truly unique, and thrilling, views. For the climb itself, there will be some tricky parts, but I will see to it you are safely guided at all times until we reach the top. And from the top, you will get to gaze at peaks as far as Austria. You will also get to see the Sella group and Sassolungo.
