Description

Let me invite you to a great canyoning tour in the Lentegí Canyon in Andalusia, Granada. Your opportunity to venture into the magnificent world of canyoning under the supervision of a certified profesional.

During this amazing day in the Lentegí Canyon you’ll have the opportunity of rappelling, swimming, jumping and sliding in a real rocky gorge. It is an intense experience for those who are looking for a big adventure. That’s why I have designed this trip with the idea of taking you through stunning sceneries and entering the deepest of the canyon. In addition you won’t believe the surrounding waterfalls and the breathtaking rocky walls of the area.

If I have to sum up the reasons why you should come with me to this canyoning day in the Lentegí Canyon, I’d list the following ones:

  • It is you opportunity to challenge your physical resistance while abseiling;

  • You will learn and improve your current canyoning skills;

  • Take a break and swim in a nearby waterfall;

  • As an expert guide I can guarantee the safest experience;

  • It’s a tour where you’ll also discover the natural wonders of Granada.

It is an intermediate-difficulty tour in which you will be able to test your current physical abilities with abseils and slides. And although it is not mandatory to have prior canyoning experience you will need to be fit in order to enjoy the challenge safely.

Itinerary*

I will pick you up from the meeting point. After a 1-hour drive we will be at the canyon. There we’ll have an introductory briefing about some security rules. Time to start the walk down to the starting route, where you can practice some rappelling and jumps. And if you want, you even can go for a refreshing swim in a natural pool nearby.

Once we get to the ending point of the Lentegí Canyon we’ll stop in a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch. Time to rest and go back your accommodation by an air-conditioned transfer.

*This is a sample itinerary. Any item can be adapted and changed according to your wishes and expectations.

Finally, let me tell you that we will need at least 2 people for this activity to take place. Remember to wear hiking boots and comfortable clothes. Please bring with you a change of clothes, just in case they get wet.

Mountain Guide

I'm a lover of adventure sports, with 23 years of experience in almost all its modalities. My passion is climbing, although my profession is more focused on another of my passions: the canyoning. I'm ICOpro Instructor (the only one in Spain), which allows me to join my two passions, sport and teaching.
I have climbed and done canyoning in many countries of the world like Indonesia, Morocco, Argentina, France, Switzerland and India. And what my travels have truly taught me is that what really matters is the people and what they can teach me. I learn from each of the people I lead and I love that.

What people are saying about Rafael

Booked half day Via Ferrata - it turned out to be 1.5 hours via Ferrata and 1.5 hours travelling. Was disappointed with the amount of time actually doing the activity

More information required from Rafa before the trip - we did not know that we would have to drive for 30 mins off-road to get to the start point. We were in a hire car and I was very concerned about damaging the car. We also had 21 people in our group - this is far too many. The trip took about 7 hours because we moved so slowly with so many people.

Rafa, is a terrific guide. My family had a fantastic time on the via feratta route he took us on in Archidona. I found Rafa to be professional, friendly, client-centered and safe. You will have to initiate the majority of the contact, but the experience is likely to be the highlight of your trip to southern Spain. I plan on recontacting Rafa when we are next in the area. He provides all the needed equipment.
