Rock climbing in Landelies, Belgium, is a great opportunity to practice on slabs and cracks, with Christophe, certified rock climbing instructor.

Description

The Landelies site is located by the Sambre river, in a magic environment. In fact, it originates from an ancient pit. The area is Charleroi. Join me for a fantastic half-say of technical via ferrata!

The site is divided into two very distinct sectors. On one side slabs, on the other cracks. The slab is 35 meters high and we can find many holes, strips and bosses, making it easier to grab on to. The cracks are more compact and smooth, therefore offering more technical routes.  The area of cracks has been recently equipped. Climbing here is more athletic, with dihedrals and cracks.

We can combine this half-day rock climbing program with a technical and varied via ferrata also in Landelies. It includes a long zipline and a vertiginous descent abseiling!

I particularly like this program because:
– It's ideal for an initiation with friends and family
– It can be combined with via ferrata (the most difficult one in Belgium!)
– Access and parking are easy.

The level can be from easy to sustained. Let's talk about your experience and fitness, and then choose the best route for you.

Tempted to try this fun day at Landelies? Then please request to book this trip, I will be happy to guide you there! And if you are coming for several days, we can also practice rock climbing at great spots like Beez and Grands Malades.

He was great at making plans before our booked date and during improvising what to do when the routes we wanted to do were taken. He listened to my goals and helped me reach everyone of them!
