Description

Canyoning is one of the most complete outdoor sports. Also, it is definitely one of the most fun ones!  As it combines different type of challenges and activities with stunning settings. And the Kötschach-Mauthen region in Asutria, is the perfect place to practice this amazing sport.

The canyon at Kötschach-Mauthen has different type of terrains, making it open for everyone! Thus, making this trip ideal for the whole family

Even though this canyon is particularly suitable for beginners, one of our priorities will be to keep you and your whole family safe. So, we’ll follow all the rules necessary to ensure that. However, please note that this trip is for kids 12 years old and up.

Additionally, the trip is perfect for groups. But, whoever you decide to come with, I promise it will be an unforgettable experience!

We’ll spend around 4 hours exploring this wonderland of rock and water. So, we’ll unveil the best places for hiking, that offer mesmerizing views. We will also climb superb canyon walls, where we’ll be surrounded by dazzling landscapes. What’s more, we’ll get to enjoy pristine natural water pools, to refresh and swim around.

Also, I know this area like the palm of my hand. Therefore, I will be able to show you my favorite spots, and some secret ones, that few people know about.

If you want to join me on this water and rock adventure, don’t hesitate and send me a request. Let me guide you through the canyon at Kötschach-Mauthen on this half-day canyoning trip.

But, if you are looking for longer challenge, I also offer this Canyoning Three Days trip at Lake Garda in Italy.

Mountain Guide

I am a IFMGA certified mountain guide and I'm passionated about nature. I was born in 1977 and before entering in the mountain life, I worked as a teacher in Borg Lienz.

I started training as a canyoning guide 15 years ago. Since 2009, I have also trained with canyoning leaders in Carinthia. Additionally, I have been on the road as a mountain and ski instructor. During the summers, I have guided a lot in Switzerland, where I took my guests to many mountains over 4000 meters high. My “motto” in the mountains and in life has always been the same: “Never stop exploring”

I work now for Carnicoalpin where our main objective is leading and accompanying you on steep mountains and great ski slopes with a particular focus set on safety.

For more information, please feel free to contact me. We can discuss about your wishes and the different options I offer. I will be really happy to be your guide and share a great moment with you!

Tobias and his colleague Alex were very knowledgeable and professional on all aspects of this amazing experience.

Conan

Had an absolutely amazing experience with Tobias, from the training day to summiting the Matterhorn. Couldn’t ask for a better guide 10/10

John

Tobias knows the Matterhorn and the surrounding area extremely well. He will go at a level that is comfortable for you and help you reach whatever mountaineering goal you have. Another reviewer said Tobias knows every step on the Matterhorn - and this is absolutely true. He's one of the BEST around.

Roberto

i guess it was a little our fault for not investigating the fact that due to weather its not always possible to climb the matterhorn, but we where notice 1 week before that the weather was not good, so it was very complicated to organize something interesting as second option.
