Description

Join us on yet another trek in the Himalayas! For 18 days, we’ll embark on an amazing journey to not only cross the two staggering passes of Kongma La (5,535 m) and Cho La (5,420m) but also to learn about the rich culture of the native people of the region.

Kongma La pass lies opposite of Lobuche, above the Khumbu glacier and is required to be crossed in order to climb the beautiful peak of Pokalde and many small neighboring peaks.

This is a challenging trek that requires you to have a fit body. Also, you’ll hardly find any crowd on the way, making it all the more exciting!

You’ll march on a less-visited trail in uncharted territory for an ultimate climbing experience. The route will take you through six distinct valleys of Khumbu, Bhotekoshi River, Gokyo Lake, Namche, Imja Tse, and Ngozumba Glacier and you sure will be enchanted to see a breathtaking landscape all along.

We’ll begin and end in the capital city of Kathmandu. From there, we’ll head towards Namche Bazaar to begin the trek. The following days will lead us through Tengboche, Chhukung and Gorak Shep.

Along with crossing the passes, the trek also includes climbing Chukung Ri (5,546m). Other highlights of the tour include the hike to Kalapathar (5,550m) and the climb of Gokyo Ri(5,357m) to get exceptional views of Everest and other soaring peaks. As you’ll pass via the spectacular Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Valley, it truly will be an unforgettable experience for you.

Also, you’ll get to communicate with the local people and learn about their culture and traditions before returning to Kathmandu to end the incredible trek.

So, lace up your boots and send a message now to reserve your seat on this challenging yet thrilling Kongma La and Cho La Pass Trek in the Everest Region. You will have an exceptional time! We also guide this Everest Panorama Trek, so do check it out if looking for more adventures in Nepal.
